OpenDrive
OpenDrive is a free mobile navigation app with interactive, moving maps powered by real-time cloud information and designed exclusively for your car’s multimedia screen. Whether you’re commuting home, searching for a place to get gas, or want to beat traffic, get all the information you need at a glance on your personalized home screen. Wherever you’re going, OpenDrive makes navigating there a lot easier.

I worked on this project for about a year. It was a complete redesign of an older app, which needed a fresh look and an overhaul in terms of UX as well. Below is an interactive prototype that you can click through and explore. There are more than 100 screens inside it, so it's quite extensive.

UX Flows
I was transitioning my UX diagrams and User Flows from Omnigraffle to Sketch completely. But instead of re-drawing hundreds of arrows and perfectly-aligned lines like a madman, I went looking for a quicker, better solution. First I tried a hack with Mindnode (using just the connections). Although it looked good, it wasn't scalable. I also tried multiple Flow kits and Sketch plugins, and ended up with Userflows plugin. I mapped a couple of keyboard shortcuts and I was good to go. With a simple shortcut I could create a hotspot, then link that with another screen and voila! Repeat a couple of times and you've got yourself a great looking userflow. It might look busy at times, but there's a handy keyboard shortcut to hide all lines.

Below are a few examples of Mindnode and Userflows plugin.
